Issue addressed: Multiple food banks have reported that periodically the Meal Connect process is experiencing extended execution time which may cause the process to overlap with the normal workday.

This release presents a change in system usage methodology.
Resolution: Testing has indicated that the bottleneck appears to be the adjust cost process execution during the posting of the Meal Connect Agency Orders coupled with the use of generic Items having numerous Item Ledger Entry/Value Entry records.
For food banks experiencing this slowdown the following change is recommended:
Change Automatic Cost Adjustment setting to Month if currently set to Always.
This change will necessitate that the “Adjust Item Costs/Fees” process be run more frequently. We recommend that if the Automatic Cost Adjustment is set to Month that the “Adjust Item Costs/Fees” process be run Monthly at a minimum.
