CERES5.03.35 - Inventory Setup error when Use SQL Quantity Available

Modified on Wed, 5 Jun at 12:07 PM

Service Request or Support: N/A

Issue Addressed: With Ceres 5.03.06 installed,

- if the DB is configured for case sensitive matches, a Stored SQL Procedure could fail due to a case mismatch. For example, in CreateQuantityAvailableProcedures.sql lower-casecedure the procedure looks for "Exclude From Pick" but in ceres the field is ""Exclude from Pick" (e.g. lower case ‘f’ on the "from"). This case mismatch can cause the stored procedure to fail.

- when attempting to select "Use SQL Quantity Available" on Inventory Setup where the Company Name contains an ampersand ("&"), the user receives an error that the SQL stored procedure could not be created.

Objects Affected:

Type               ID                    Name

This release does not present a change in system usage methodology.

Resolution: Ceres was enhanced by

- updating StoredProcedure: CreateQuantityAvailableProcedures.sql
