CERES5.03.09 - Inventory Values not passed properly when doing Inventory Adjustment

Modified on Wed, 5 Jun at 11:45 AM

Service Request or Support: N/A

Issue Addressed: For Items where “Value Item By” is set to “Effective Date”, Inventory Values are not passed properly when doing an Inventory Adjustment.

Objects Affected:

Type               ID                    Name

Table              83                    Item Journal Line

Table              14012394      Item Value

Codeunit       14012258      Lot Management

Codeunit       14012301      Advanced Kitting Management

Page               14012565      Item Values

This release does not present a change in system usage methodology.

Resolution: Ceres was enhanced by updating the above objects to adjust the calculation for the Unit Value:

  • Update Unit Value calculation on the Item Journal Line table to include multiplying times the Unit Gross Weight in function ’CalcLotValue’ in the Advanced Kitting Management codeunit.
  • Correct setting of the Unit Value on the Lot No. Information table in function ‘CreateLotNoInfoOnPurchLine’ in the Lot Management codeunit.
  • Correct setting of the Unit Value on the Item Journal Line table in a new function ‘SetUnitValue’, called during Item Journal Line field validations.

A new field has been added to the Item Values table and page, called “Base UOM Value” so Item Values can be entered as the Base UOM Value (e.g. Case Value) or by entering the Value per LB.
