Jet Analytics Quick Start - For Jet Analytics Clients

The Jet Analytics Quick Start from Wye Sight includes setup of the out of the box project for your Microsoft Dynamics ERP platform, as well as basic configuration, training, and data validation. This document gives a brief overview of what to expect and a basic estimate of how long this process takes in an ideal scenario.

Process

1. Planning (1-2 days)
   1. The Wye Sight and Client teams meet to discuss server requirements, ERP access, and other pre-installation tasks.
   2. After planning, process timing contingent on server setup and ERP access.
2. Installation (1 day)
   1. Installation is completed via remote meeting software and screen sharing with Wye Sight Implementation Engineer.
   2. Process includes Jet Analytics and can include the Jet Hub as an optional component.
3. Basic Configuration (3-5 days)
   1. Includes basic security configuration, initial data processing validation, and preparation for next step.
4. Validation Planning (1 day)
   1. Wye Sight and Client teams prioritize the order for data validation.
   2. The following steps change in scale depending on which cubes are selected for validation.
      
5. Data Validation (7-21 days per cube)
   1. Validation time dependent on data familiarity, client availability, and data validation issues identified.
   2. Includes basic pivot table training for data consumers.
   3. Additional basic customization, such as new fields from a table, can be added during this step.
6. Additional Customizations (TBD)
   1. If project time remains after completing previous steps, the Implementation Engineer will work with client to define further customizations.
   2. If no time remains, you can work with your Wye Sight team to determine how best to move forward with additional consulting work.
